Art Assistant

As we grow, and add more content to the website, the art increases from simple thumbnails to redesigning pages on the site. We are looking for an art assistant to create images, page formats, and other projects handed down to work on the site. The art assistant will be working closely with out lead artist on the site with projects as well as what was stated above. Here are the following criteria for this position:

Must have and know photoshop or equal artistic skills
Be Able to communicate with the team, and art lead at all times

Have some knowledge on page formats in websites
Be able to assist with the art lead, as well as completing projects that are assigned in a fast and timely matter

News Editor

One of the core goals we drive here at Mission Start Podcast is to deliver the up to date news to the fans on the latest on Video games and anime. Here are the following criteria for this position:

Be able to use social media to advertise your news story

Have decent writing skills

Be able to at least put up two news stories a day

To be able to site your sources and research for news stories to write about

Reviews Editor

Why do reviewers exist? Because its better to help people know which games or anime is good and which ones are bad. Being a reviewer for Mission Start Podcast not only helps you become a better writer over time but also getting your name out there. Here are the following criteria for this position:

Be able to go in dept with your reviews on the good, the bad, and your thoughts in the review

Have decent writing skills

Keep a constant flow of reviews coming in for the site

Demo Previews Editor

When a new game comes out or comes close to coming out there is always a demo that shows off what is to expected from the game. Much which the demo holds us over until the game actually comes out and this is just a sneak peak of whats to come. Well we have a position open for people like you. We are looking for people are willing to play demos and write about them for the site. The following criteria for this position are:

Be able to have a constant flow of demo previews coming in

Have a decent writing skills

Like the reviews editor job be able to go in dept in details about the demo along side with your thoughts on it

Convention Photographer

Do you enjoy taking pictures at anime conventions? Are you inspiring to be a top notch photographer? Well then why not help us out, while we help you out. Here are the following criteria for this position:

Must provide your own camera

Be willing to learn how to use Weebly and upload photos onto the website

Have the skills and know how to use a camera at different angles

Be able to use a digital camera or a high level camera

Video Editor

Are you the type of person who goes to events, conventions, and other stuff and record all the time? Do you upload everything you have to youtube? We are looking for you! Okay that sounded cliche' but we are looking for Video Editors. The more the merrier I say, we are looking for those who have skills in video editing and able to upload to our youtube channel. Here are the following criteria for this position:

Steady Hands

Be able to travel to conventions and events and able to record with a video camera

Be able to be quick and consistent on video content from conventions and panels

Be well verse in youtube and uploading clips and videos onto youtube

Be able to use any video editing program (ex. Vegas, Premiere, final cut pro)

Video Game Walkthroughs

As gamers we all love to play video games, and sometimes we like to show off how we did it by uploading videos on youtube of video game walkthroughs. Well If your the type of person who loves to upload video game footage either from your PC, Mac, or console then this position might be for you. We are looking for people to play video games and upload them on our youtube channel. Here are the following criteria for this position:

Be able to upload video content weekly on our youtube channel

A Team player

Have knowledge of using game recording software like Xsplit or any other recording software

Live commentary is a plus

Play a wide range of video games

Have some sort of video editing skills to edit and upload the videos

Convention Reporter

Lets' face it, we all love to go to conventions. Anime, video game, whatever is the case we love to go and always have a good time. Are you the type of person that writes about them after the events are over? We got a position open to you then. For the first time we are open up the position for people like you, to go to conventions as a reporter, to not only report how the convention is but be able to express yourself in a review of the convention of how was your experience was. We are also looking for non-california conventions to be reviewed. We already have those covered, and want to expand to other states.
Here are the following criteria for this position:

Pictures - Some to at least go with whatever you write if your not going to just take photo

Have fun

Observe everything from the type of people that are there, how the panels are set up, how the staff treat the attendees, everything.

Be open minded and attend to as many events at the convention

Be consistent on writing reviews for which ever convention you are attending to

Have decent writing skills

Coders

We need someone in the background improving the site to be better and more awesome. We are looking for people who know HTML and CSS to help us improve our site, whether it be a simple layout design, or being able to add flash to our website. Here are the following criteria for this position:

Bonus if you know Dreamweaver and have skill in that, plus photoshop skills is another plus

Have idaes and always thinking on how to improve the site

Be able to learn and use weebly

Have knowledge and skill of HTML and CSS

Social Media Expert

As we expand our website to other social media websites like twitter, facebook, google plus, and to expand we need help updating our social media with new news stories, reviews, convention reports, podcasts, and so on. Here are the following criteria for this position:

Is familiar with all social media websites, (twitter, facebook, google plus, tumblr, etc.)

Able to post our new content on each social media website asap

Communication with our team

Be able to have fun talking to people on social media
